As I lay on my pillow,
I wish you were near,
To drive away the
doubts, and the meaningless fear.
Your presence brings
comfort, a stillness, and a calm,
But my heart is still
racing with you in my arms.
I wonder if you
slumber, tucked up in your bed,
Or lay there awake,
with thoughts of me in your head.
If you are unconscious,
I hope you find a way,
To dream of my
presence, till beside you I lay.
But I am all alone, and
my mind dwells on you,
Lost in the memories,
even though they are few.
I wonder if you are,
aware that I do care,
And wish for an endless
moment with you to share.
