As I lay on my pillow

As I lay on my pillow, I wish you were near,
To drive away the doubts, and the meaningless fear.
Your presence brings comfort, a stillness, and a calm,
But my heart is still racing with you in my arms.

I wonder if you slumber, tucked up in your bed,
Or lay there awake, with thoughts of me in your head.
If you are unconscious, I hope you find a way,
To dream of my presence, till beside you I lay.

But I am all alone, and my mind dwells on you,
Lost in the memories, even though they are few.
I wonder if you are, aware that I do care,
And wish for an endless moment with you to share.

I must find the fire

A year has past, a new year has begun,
One more chance to turn my eyes to the sun,
I must find the fire, I must start again,
I must be renewed, yet still be the same.

I am not whole, I am wracked with chaos,
Imbued with a deep emotional loss,
That threatens to engulf my very soul,
But I am not willing to take the fall.

I will not falter, I will hold my place,
I will keep to the shadows, hide my face.
Please pass me by, for I will stand aloft,
Whilst I search inside for that which I lost.

My heart is not my own

My Heart is not my own,
Most of it is without me,
Given freely, taken lightly,
My own worthless credit
That costs me more than you know.

Do not take what you cannot spend,
Do not buy what you will not use,
Do not waste what has worth.
Do not give what is not yours to take.

Your heart is not your own,
It is worth more than you know,
You invested it in those you love,
And offered all that you had.

You gave it freely and not once
Asked for anything in return,
You will never know it's value
To those who are touched by it's grace.

Silently they call you

Have you ever felt like
Your phone received a call,
And when you check the home screen
No message, none at all.

Silently they call you.
When your phone is on vibrate.
Silently they call you.
When you answer it's too late.

Have you ever wondered
Why it happens time again?
And when you least expect it,
It will happen just the same.

Silently they call you.
When your phone is on vibrate.
Silently they call you.
When you answer it's too late.

Your phone receives their signal,
But it's not a call or text.
It's their way of telling you
That you will be the next.

Silently they call you.
When your phone is on vibrate.
Silently they call you.
When you answer it's too late.

Let me burn for you

Please, please, numb the pain, tie me to my bed,
The pain in my heart is now in my head,
Break me, placate me, fill me with desire,
For it burns with an all consuming fire.

Don't waste it, use it, let me burn for you,
Shape it, mould it, please give me something new,
A feeling of pleasure, of pain so sweet,
Let us lose all consciousness in this heat.

I long for comfort, the taste of your lips,
The rise and fall of your forgiving hips,
Rake me, tease me, tear my body apart,
Feast on my flesh, till you reveal my heart.
Please take it and heal it, sooth all the scars,
Lift it to my eyes and cleanse it with tears.

Your Angel

Part of your heart is forever frozen
By memories that will never change
Trapped in your heart forever
A distant smile filled with pain.

When your heart shines
Your Angel smiles down from above
And if you ever need her
Your Angel holds your hand with love.

Treasure all of your memories,
Always hold them close,
Don't let go of your heart,
Even when it hurts the most.

When your heart shines
Your Angel smiles down from above
And if you ever need her
Your Angel holds your hand with love.

Lonesome Cries

I hate the pain that you must feel inside,
I hate the way it burns behind your eyes,
I hate the fact I can't be by your side,
I hate that no one hears your lonesome cries.

Give me your pain I'll take it deep inside,
Let it burn within my vigilant eyes,
As you cruelly thrust the spear in my side,
Only you will hear my blood curdling cries.

I ignore the pain I now hold inside,
As I search for the sparkle in your eyes,
I gently wrap my arm around your side,
In a bid to banish your anguished cries.
I will kiss oblivion from your eyes
So I can silence all your lonesome cries.
